surprised - maybe?

Glorious late autumn day in Edinburgh. Went up the Scott Monument which is always a great laugh. Fantastic views, although I really should have taken the big camera. Ah well, too much to carry and no bike to help with it. The statue is of Dominie Sampson only really visible from the top gallery. I hadn't noticed it before but I quite liked the expression. Next week I plan to go up the Nelson Monument on Calton Hill. Never done that so far. I hope the weather is alright. I will take the big camera then.
