Mirror Tarn

Another beautiful day in the Lake District. We started at Ashness Bridge before moving on to Surprise View (overlooking Derwent Water) where we also ate our lunch in the sunshine. Then on up to Watendlath where the tarn was beautifully still. We saw the last of the day's sunshine here and the light was fabulous (the blip). Finally we went down to Nichol End where I managed to drop a filter ring in Derwent Water from a jetty, unlikely to be seen again. Never mind, could have been a much more expensive piece of kit.

Annie worked from home. At least the originally planned travel for her work today didn't have to happen.
