Hinterland

Arvin and I were watching Hinterland this evening and I was taking photos of the show while we watched. This is how they came out. Quite different from how they looked while we were watching. Not sure why but I really like the effect. You can see more on Chaikins of Bellingham.

Helena, Arvin and I went to the Bellingham Music Club this morning. Two amazing young pianists did a performance of a bunch of piano four hand pieces. They were wonderful. Marija Ilic and Milica Jelaca Jovanovic grew up in Belgrade, Serbia and studied piano together. Milica lives in Bellingham. Marija lives in Manhattan. They have traveled together and performed four hand music all over the world including in their home country. It was a fantastic concert. Afterwards we all went out for lunch at Mikanos. It was a lovely morning and early afternoon.

By the way, Milica and Marija will perform the music we heard this morning and more at the Music Club's "Night Beat" concert tomorrow night. I believe the concert starts at 7:30 pm. It will be performed at the First Congregational Church on Cornwall Street in Bellingham. If you can get there, be sure to go. They are amazing players.
