Lacock Abbey

We had a wonderful full day together today. We met at 10am in our usual bus stop and headed east without knowing where we were going yet. The weather was glorious and as I drove, he looked at a map. And pondered.

We ended up at Lacock. It was wonderful there. The abbey, the amazing photography exhibition and the village (a very expensive tea shop though)!

Afterwards, we headed north, drove through the Cotswolds and ended up in Stratford upon Avon. What a lovely town!

We walked all along the river. It was so beautiful. We then had a gorgeous meal before heading back via a far longer than planned route! My fault entirely but at least it was more time together. :-)
