Cow Parade
The City of Perth is host to 40 life-size designer cows and a cheese festival in a new community event that is part of the largest and most successful public art program in the world.
CowParade Perth 2016 features 40 cows for a festival and public parade.
The life-sized fiberglass cows are painted and styled by celebrated emerging, mid-career and senior local artists and fashion designers. The cows will be exhibited throughout the City in malls, parks, iconic buildings and precincts, with some auctioned at the 2016 Lexus Ball for Telethon, which raises money to support child health research.
This is a world-class event in Perth, which has been a great international success in cities such as New York, London, Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong,

"This is Alice: This work was inspired by "Lance Chad's' (the artist) Father, in honour of all Aboriginal stockmen. His Father, like the 'elders' who taught him, were not just renowned for their multiple skills with horses, cattle, machinery, and general station maintenance. They were also men of culture with strong connections to the Land with knowledge and responsibilities to care for their country"
