Twit twoo

Today I took 20 children from The Restart Children's Centre, (kenya) to the Owl Sanctuary in Naivasha. All the children had a chance to hold the Verreaux owl pictured above. In Kenya the owl is a superstitious bird that the Kenyans believe brings bad luck. So the trip was quite educational and hopefully the children now see these lovely creatures in a different light. The centre had a wide variety of birds of prey for the children to see, the centre takes in injured birds, treats them and then trains them before releasing them into the wild.
