1001 and counting

So I thought about blip quite a lot today. After yesterday's milestone I wanted to start my thousands as I mean to go on. So got this lovely shot while the weather was good. By dusk it was raining.
But I did miss a momentous moment because I stupidly was camera and phone less!!!
When I went to the bottom of the drive with the bins, I spotted a belted Galloway up close to the fence. So I crossed road to say hi. She wasn't in the mood however and turned away.... and there were 2 wee feet making their way into the world!!!!!
The farmer Helen appeared and we chatted as the heifer lay down and produced a gorgeous wee beltie girl. Oh my.... what a moment.
It was amazing. Can't wait to see the wee girl running around with the other calves tomorrow. In the rain! Ooft!
