Snow Day!

5:30a: Alarm blaring.
5:35a: Phone rings.
Department head called me to make sure I knew that we had no school today.
5:45a: Back to bed.

I woke up around 9a and decided I wanted to go sledding. Texted around, made some plans, and got up. I went out and blipped the snow around my house and street. Mandy joined me.

Got myself ready to go sledding.. which is where I took my picture for the day.

I went sledding and it was FANTASTIC!
There were quite a few of us who went. Usually I'm tired after going down twice. I went down that hill at least 8 times. And it was quite the hike.

Our group decided it would be a good idea to go down together, arms linked. The first time, I flew off of my sled, slid down the hill face first and was then run down by Lydia.
The second time, Lydia and I both got a facefull of snow.
And the third time, Lydia and I went down backwards and we all ended up crashing into each other. It was awesome.

I came home, soaking wet but incredibly happy. Then headed to my brother's swim meet where he got 3rd. Not one of his best meets, he said, but I'm still proud.

Now to relax with some Christmas movies :)
