Coffee Penguin

Last night, TallGirl made a flying machine out of the pic'n'mix Lego she bought. Today that was converted into an office, complete with 3D printers, work stations, an air con/heating system and penguin with coffee station. Surreal, and fabulous. There was even a break room. How does she even know what a break room is? (Brooklyn 99, I guess)

Earlier, some way too early morning talking in French to the kids' schools, then a welcome nap, some admin, a very positive house viewing (though it was more like an interview really - I so much hope we passed...), Greggs pies for lunch, a poké-hunt, homework and dinner.

Turns out that CarbBoy saved us from near-certain death yesterday with his (frankly) unpopular insistence on Pizza Hut. I'd wanted to go to the Mexican Wahaca restaurant just up the road... which was closed down this morning due to a norovirus scare. Close call (in an apartment with one toilet of unreliable flushing ability, that could have been a seriously unpleasant experience...)
