Hautes Courtils Road

Todays blip is of a narrow lane on a hill , overhung with trees. What caught my eye was the edge of the road which is lined with cobbles laid on their narrow edge. I've not seen that before, perhaps it's for drainage as water could soak through the gaps.
It's been a difficult day as our daughter narrowly missed her A level grades to get to medical school. We are having a remark as her place is being held and just a couple more marks will make all the difference, so fingers crossed.
