.....of the bumble bee.....

I wondered when the bumbles would turn up, they look big and awkward compared to the small elegant honey bees.

Today the bumble bees fed from the top of the Granny's Bonnets as well as up inside while the honey bees only fed from the top, wonder if this is normal. The Granny's Bonnets were bobbing around with the weight of the bumbles, it really was a fight for all, sometimes several bees on one bonnet, poor granny :)

Oops - didn't realise the 'twist' was back for Flower Friday, the twist being 'fire', perhaps that's where this bumble is off to in great haste! Thanks Anni for continuing to host Flower Friday :)
