look out!

a day away from the 'shit list' so it was off to winchester which was lovely - but why are the shops the same in every city?
on return i started the process of baking sour dough bread. it uses a ferment that i made from the yeast that comes in the flour (took several days to create). it'll prove over night and will be baked tomorrow - a real labour of love but it's well worth the effort!
my son arrived back after a short break to the west country - he started off by cycling london to bristol (taking 8 hours including breaks). he complained of a sore bottom but i'm not surprised as he didn't train for it but he appears to be walking ok!
