Salt's Mill

Verity and I took the train to Guiseley this morning and spent some money in Hobbycraft before having a cuppa and Christmas cake in Costa (yes, you read correctly, C......cake) and then setting off with friend Tom's directions to walk back to Bingley.  Well done Tom, the route was lovely, down through Esholt Woods and Village in the sunshine and autumnal colours, on to the canal before Shipley, through Saltaire (where I took this blip of Titus Salt's Mill) with a break for yummy soup at the Art Gallery cafe before resuming our walk along the canal to Bingley.

Much catching up of weddings and children and holidays and friends and all that good natter material.
