Anole in My Hair
My little guy came today (as he or his family do most days) while I was sitting by the patio door using my laptop. The shadow in the photo is my head, so I tried to create a shot that looks as if he climbed out of my hair. As I've said before, I like having them all around the house (outside). This one is on the front panel of a patio chair made from recycled materials. Here is some Wikipedia info: The Carolina anole (Anolis carolinensis) is an arboreal lizard found primarily in the southeastern United States and some Caribbean islands. Other common names include the green anole, American anole and red-throated anole. It is also sometimes referred to as the American chameleon due to its ability to change color from several brown hues to bright green and its somewhat similar appearance (though it is not a true chameleon).
