New fibre broadband successfully installed at home, mostly by remote control magic after I replaced the router at the weekend.  We've waited long enough for it to become available, so I hope it's good!

First signs are promising - Speedtest.net tells me:

Before:  8.6 Mbit/s down, 0.9 Mbit/s up, 31ms ping  (Link: 10/1)
After: 27 Mbit/s down, 7.5 Mbit/s up, 25ms ping  (Link: 40/10)

Should be even faster off peak times.

I had my good camera with me at work today to shoot a work video, and to take todays Blip Central image, but I still forgot to take a blip for myself.  Doh.  Hence you get the exciting new broadband...
