Glass fusing

A fun afternoon with friends at the Bradford Leigh Makery, at a glass fusing workshop. This is my effort, prior to its first of two firings - the first (taking place as I type) is to fuse the glass; the second is to curve it so that it will be free-standing. I hope to get the finished piece back next week.

Eagle-eyed blippers may notice the lack of membership on my account. November is always a bad month for us financially, coming hard on the heels of his bike insurance, my car insurance, our TV licence and our house insurance. We're also going to London for a 4-night mini-break in under a fortnight, possibly not wise in view of what's happened this autumn but the hotel was booked & paid for long before I was taken ill...
