Brandenburger Tor

After a long day in our MYP courses we could join a guided walk past some of the iconic places of Berlin. The Brandenburger Tor/Gate is one place I have wanted to visit for such a long time - the icon gate that was inaccessible for both the West and East Berliners. Now a focal point for everyone wanting to make their message heard. There was a demonstration against the political environment in Turkey as you can on the left of the photo. The two ladies is the photo are my colleagues Liesbeth and Elke.
