It's A Cabbage
I was so delighted with the response to my stupidity yesterday, not reading every word in a letter! Thank you, you are so kind.
Today we weren't going to get anything wrong! We had things to do tomorrow and needed to prepare.
Cleaner called upon and laundry for the lodge dropped off.
Jewellery and Photography loaded into cars.
Car fuelled up.
20 mile trip up to Carlisle to collect #2 Daughter from train.
Coffee and cake consumed in garden centre while we wait.
Phone call from said Daughter.
Meeting finished early. On a train that stops at Penrith.
Where should she get off?
Well, having come up to Carlisle we thought she might as well get off there and we could have the pleasure of her company on the 20 mile journey home!
Chilled Prosecco and a slow cooker meal awaited.
The cabbage? Well, on a ski holiday, when we took our own young kids along with a Secondary School party. There was a Pictionary evening. 10-yr old Daughter got up and started to draw a shape, quick as a flash 7yr-old #2 Daughter shouted "Cabbage" We remember that every time cabbages are mentioned.
