Viking ship

We went to visit some my friend and her husband today. He has taken up a new hobby in retirement, making model ships. He's in fierce competition with one one his cronies, as to who can make the best one out of recycled stuff. This one is made from Doctors' wooden spatulas and tea stirrers from cafes.
I did wonder about the recycling aspect...has the doctor used them?
