Betsy and Al

So happy today as we were unexpectedly able to take Betsy off for a few hours. We took her to this lovely outdoor swimming pool, with fountains and slides and beautiful views of the hills around Collecchio.

She has been playing her heart out, giving everything she's got, and is very tired, so it was lovely to give her a break and a chance to relax. She ate two lunches and talked non stop about the games and the fun the team is having in the hotel every night.

She's turned out to be a bit of a star pitcher, with the other parents calling 'The Big Four', because she plays in shirt 4 and she's so tiny.
