Great evening......

....apart from the weather. For some reason, after weeks of no rain at all, it teemed down just as we were getting onto the busy A27. The road quickly flooded, but we got to Worthing safely.

Tickets for The Manfreds, playing at the Pavilion theatre were a belated birthday present from some friends. We had an early meal at a restaurant just opposite, full of people of a certain age. At 7:15 there was a general exodus!

The band were excellent, played the whole evening, adding in PP Arnold and Zoot Money from time to time. For anyone who can remember the 60s, I recommend them.
