My Friend and I...

A busy day today started with me leading a workshop aimed at helping a church become more dementia friendly.  I think it was a rewarding morning but things like that take their toll emotionally.

So when we got home, I really felt the need to get out for some fresh air.  We chose a walk along the Staffs and Worcs canal and the colours in the late afternoon autumn sunshine where really beautiful.

These two caught my eye as they seemed a bit of a mismatched pair as they floated along together.  Are they both ducks?  Is a goose a duck?  How ignorant am I?

I think they are beautiful in their relationship.  Diversity is often a good bed fellow...
