Flood Defence Work

These last few weeks there has been a lot of activity in Mytholmroyd to improve the flow of the River Calder after the devastating Boxing Day floods last year.
Here is a 'then and now' showing how the work has progressed.  Pity it wasn't done before the Christmas rain - but let's hope it is effective for the future.
Polly dog update:  she continues to improve although she is not yet as bright and inquisitive as she was.  Time being the great healer.
