First snow

on Skiddaw and Helvellyn fells.
This was taken whilst walking on Naddle Fell looking towards the flank of Blencathra on the right and up Glenderaterra Beck towards Great Calva. What names, all of them.
Yet again I had vague thoughts of getting over to see The Suppliant Woman, this time at the Northern Stage. It seemed appropriate as it was supposedly the first known use of the word democracy which seems rather fitting in the current climate ... it seems to have been forgotten somewhere along the line. I just couldn't face the drive though.
