Shipston

We went to Shipston this morning to meet Emma for coffee.  She was going to come up last night but was stuck in a traffic jam for hours.

Shipston is a small town/village on the river Stour. One of the main eateries/drinkeries is The George in the centre of town.  It's an interesting place but mediocre coffee, still the company was good and it was nice to see Emma again.

I tried to find something photogenic whilst we were there, though I didn't have a lot of time as there was a biting wind and we wanted to get back to the car.  There is a nice bit by the river but we didn't get there today.  So here's a picture of The George.  Ann and Emma are just in the picture but a car drove up and stopped, illegally, obscuring my view.  Oh well.

Murray was supposed to be in the Paris semi-final today but Raonic called off leaving Andy a walk over to the final tomorrow, and also confirming him as Number 1 in the world having overtaken Djokovic.
