Winding Rails

Took a trip up the Conflent Valley to the Cedagne on the Train Jaune, which opened in 1910.  Apart from the striking scenery what amazes me is the way the 63km of track justs meanders through the countryside.  It has the highest station in France and at its end meets up with SNCF and RENFE rail links, each of which have different gauges.
