Geese
We were back at Culbin today for the last of this year’s Scottish Orienteering League races. It was longer than Saturday’s course and I enjoyed the challenge more. I was quite clean, albeit slow, and only really lost about a minute until I inexplicably tried to miss out a control, costing me 3 minutes, near the finish. I then took some photos that will be in a press article about orienteering; mainly for publications in the Moray area. The blip was taken in the parking field in the morning, as the Greylag Geese were flying west for the day’s feeding. I love autumn when the geese get back from their summer breeding areas; it’s a time to look forward to winter.
