Scented Sun Orchid

The upside of a wet winter.  I got a text from a colleague in the Friends of Belair NP that these gorgeous orchid are prolific in a certain spot - and as they only come out in warm weather and sunshine, I was up there as soon as I could get.


Thelymitra glaucophylla - the proper name is Glaucous Leaf Sun Orchid, but it also scented, but I didn't know that when I was taking the images, or I would have stuck my nose in for a smell.

It's very beautiful.
