Guess who's back?!

Dear little Riley dog is back with us for a little while.  We picked him up on Wednesday, the day after we got back from Berlin.  Apparently his "forever" mum is taking time to sort things out....  We were thrilled to have him back.  He remembered us immediately and settled back in so quickly.

Anyway, while we were away and he was with his other foster parents, he was spotted in their village by a retired couple who have fallen in love with him and are going to adopt him, maybe as soon as next weekend.  We took Riley back into the Dogs Trust yesterday afternoon for him to have the "cat test" (!) as this couple have a cat.  Pleased to say he passed with flying colours so all is looking good. 

However, if anything should go wrong with this adoption I've said we'll have him for good because I don't want his little life upset any more.  I feel all will be well this time though so will keep you posted!  Meanwhile, it is just a joy to have him back with us.
