Giant Beeches

It's not always easy to upload a photo each day in sequence. I've been waiting to edit and decided on this day's photo for a few days.

It's just because you get some days where there are photos wherever you look and not enough time to edit and even choose the one which can express the days events and emotions.

I had some fun getting this photo. It wasn't just a case of looking up, as that didn't give enough scope to include enough of the tree trunks. So I resorted to resting my camera on the ground. Using my self timer and the touch screen on live view and flipping out the touch screen, I was able to get a wider view with only my kit lens.

Mind you I did look a bit daft, jumping away from the camera when I pressed the shutter, to avoid getting in on the shot!
