Morning walk

I'm a day behind - but I took this photo yesterday morning when I went out for an early "run"  - these days there is not too much running but a little.

The dog was ecstatic - the overnight temperatures are more seasonal (cool) and it makes him so happy - and our walks have been pretty skimpy lately so when we move on to the longer route, he gets pretty happy.

The light was lovely.    This is a spot that I really love - cresting the ridge above the creek.  You can almost see the trail winding up the hill, but the leaves have fallen and covered everything.
