Shower of rain in the last few sunlight minutes of the day, by the Caledonian Canal, near Tomnahurich, Inverness. (Pity I couldn't get the top of the dog poo bin out of frame!)
Despite the same weather as last night - strong and cold Northerly wind, with showers - cycled into town. Visit bank; had a look at the progress of the new bridge over the River Ness (snapped the above whilst there); some shopping and back home.
House is blooming cold just now. So much so that the fire was lit this evening... for the first time since last Winter. Have a load of bits and pieces of wood to get shot of, so probably another fire tomorrow too. No bonfire night for me, though I did see the huge mountain of pallets that would be set alight as part of the Inverness celebration.
