Grebe chicks all grown up ...

... to the size of their Mum now but she still feeds them and fusses if they go too far it seems. I don't know why the young have such hairy tufts in front of their eyes, maybe when that goes Mother Grebe will let her brood of 4 survivers go it alone.
This was blipped, what seems like a long time ago, I was so sure the nest would not survive. Then there was this with the little ones all trying to get onto Mum's back!
