Westward Ho

A lazy start followed by a trip down to St.Annes for lunch with relatives before they make their (probably last) annual winter trip over to see my sister in New Zealand before she moves back to the UK.
When we left it was snowing that dreadful sort of wet autumnal snow - but as we're only at 250m asl that bodes well for the higher fells, shame I've got a really busy week ahead, but hopefully it'll last. I'd thought we'd walk pooch on the beach and that would provide a blip - but the sharp wind and sharper airborne sand put the rest of the group off - so we ambled around a park. Nice but dull...
On the drive home we stopped to see M in the home, from Milnthorpe the dropping sun out in the bay looked amazing - so we headed out to Far Arnside, arriving a couple of minutes after sunset.
