Stormy waters

This morning we headed out to the coast to do a spot of sea watching.
It was very windy and at one time we got very wet as the rain came down and was blowing straight at us. This shot was taken before the rain came I spotted some Sanderling on the beach so grabbed my camera but they flew off before I could get a shot of them. Seeing as I had my camera in my hand I decided to take a couple of shots of the waves coming in. I'm pleased I took theses shots as I didnt get any more photo opportunities apart from a giant rainbow stretching from far in land and out to sea.
We did manage to see a few good bits flying around out at sea including 1 Little Auk sat on the sea very hard to spot as its only the size of a starling.
