A little piece of (my) history

As I bought a flash gun a few weeks ago, I thought I ought to have a proper play with it and start to learn how it works. A chilly Sunday seemed like the perfect opportunity. Knowing that John would quickly get bored if I tried to take lots of shots of him, I thought a still life set up would work best.  So a good play using my first film SLR as a prop.  This was retired more than 10 years ago having seen good use from both my mum and then me after it's shutter started sticking making its metering rather erratic!  This set up used the pop up flash (with its intensity dialled down) to trigger the flash gun held off camera.
