The Queen Vic

We spent most of the day in Taunton, shopping for a present for Kate's birthday, which is in a fortnight's time.

Kate, Joel & Sophie happened to be down there as well so we met up for a coffee and snack at lunchtime, then we took Sophie for a walk round Vivary Park, so that Kate & Joel could do an hour's shopping in peace. Sophie had been wanting to pick up everything she saw in the shops and had thrown a few tantrums when she wasn't allowed - she can throw a good tantrum when she puts her mind to it, despite her angelic appearance in my blips! :)

This is the memorial fountain erected by the good folk of Taunton in 1907 to commemorate Queen Victoria. It was a proper raw November day today.
