Dundonel Gardens

Today my friend Rona and I went to visit Dundonell House Gardens. We left about 10.30 am as it would take us and hour and a half to get there. We had our lunch at Magggies Tearoom which is quite near the gardens. We had a shower of rain while we were having lunch and the midges out side looked horendous. We arrived at the garden on time for them to open at 2pm and kitted ourselves out for the dreaded midge covering ourselves in midge rpellent then set off to enjoy the gardens. At the entrance table the girl said that the midges had disappeared and we didn't really believe her but the sun came out and they were gone. The gardens were beautiful and we took our time inspecting every flower and I took 153 photos so I was spoilt for choice for a blip.It was a very pleasant day and I thank Rona for driving there and buying my lunch as a birthday present and being great company.
