Running Repair
At the weekend it was the 50th anniversary of the last passenger train leaving Oswestry station as part of the Beeching cuts. The Cambrian Heritage Railway in the town had a two day celebration with steam train rides and 1960s cars and memorabilia.
Just as I was leaving the station platform the driver left his cab with a hammer. He gave the vent on the top a bash with it to cut down the amount of steam being lost then returned to the cab. It was a shame that I couldn't get a better view but I was just leaving at the time.
