A morning walk from Grasmere towards Silver How. It was not our intention to reach the top, merely to get high enough for views towards Fairfield (above) and across Grasmere. Then a retreat to the Garden Centre cafe for coffee and scones ........ 10/10 for the scones today :)

Photo taken with the pocket Olympus. It's a compromise between picture quality and being able to keep my hands warm in my pockets (when safe to do so). You may be able to spot a little snow up with the cloud on the top.
