Mono Monday: Hot

Once the weather gets hot the the annual shedding of the bark by the smooth eucalypts begins.

Firstly it starts to crack then it comes away in chunks, this one is well on the way to getting it all off! ;o).

Underneath is lovely smooth fresh bark which will last them through the next year only to be repeated at the start of summer next year.
