St. Andrews, Kowloon
Today, Martin and I decided to visit a church in Tsim Sha Tsui, an Anglican Church that has a new life centre that was recently built. Our roots are both Anglican and we were looking forward to this evangelical Anglican service.
It sure felt weird getting out of DB on a Sunday morning, but seeing Kowloon quite empty at that time of the day sure made up for it.
Great facility, spacious, modern and the service was very good. After service someone directed us to the main St Andrew's church which is a 110 year old building! Here it is. They were getting ready for a mandarin service and as we stepped in to have a closer look, we could see the worship team practicing, they were singing 'The Servant King' in mandarin!
We then went back to HK island and to Crystal Jade, one of our fav restaurants. Went to the one I took Mr & Mrs CBL to AND Feather :).
Back home for a rest and then down to the beach. Roberto and Elizabeth came down and brought the bottle of champagne we got them for their 25th anniversary. What joy! We were freeeeeezing on the beach!!!!!!! Wish I'd worn trousers.
