Basils and Polly

A good day at work and, dare I say it, things are looking up (especially now I'm only there on two days of the week). The newly-reorganised office is a much nicer space to work in and we're currently on top of everything. So, for once, I have nothing to complain about!

When I popped home to let the dogs out at lunchtime Annabelle and Basil Junior paid an impromptu visit as they were in the area - and they had an early Christmas present for me: a book of archaeological walks written by the director of my first ever dig, signed by the author :) We only had time for a cup of tea and some cake (yes, that was my lunch today!) but it was nice to see them and, hopefully, we'll be popping in to see them before the month is out.
