Traditional

More of a traditional day today! We headed down to "Old Dubai", lots of gold souks, spices everywhere and about a million mean trying to sell you a pashmina!

I saw some trousers that I loved so had to buy them, £7.50 a total bargain! However we left the shop £79 lighter after buying 3 pashmina/scarf things and Tim bought a full on emerati get up, long white robe, red and white head cloth and the black headband to go with it! The guys in the shop told him "now you are a proper Arab you can have 4 wives" his reply made them all die "no way, I get enough attitude from this one"

We had lunch at the most amazing restaurant on the edge of Dubai creek, watching all of the water taxis coming in and out! Ended up taking 2.5 hours to eat lunch as we were so chilled!

Explored around our hotel area tonight, went for another ice cream and then to get some bits for dinner!

Looking forward to a day of chilling by the pool tomorrow before heading off on a desert tour at 3pm! 4x4 racing in the desert, camel rides, quad bikes, BBQ dinner, belly dancing show and henna tattoos! Cannot wait
