London.....

Went up to St. Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey this morning.  The train terminated at Surbiton due to some "circumstances" of which I couldn't make head nor tail.  This left us rather short of time and having to get a taxi at Waterloo.  We attended a memorial service for a friend who died back in March and afterwards went for some light refreshment at the Houses of Parliament on the terrace.  I can't remember when I have been so cold.  We queued to get through security for ages and by then the rot had set in.  I was glad to get home tonight!
