Beresford
The Beresford building is a Glasgow Art Deco landmark.
Formerly The Beresford Hotel, from 1938 (when it was built) until 1952, it's architect William Beresford Inglis was also the owner and managing director. It was the tallest building erected in Glasgow (10 storeys) between the two world wars.
Subsequently (1964-2002) it was a halls of residence for University of Strathclyde students.
The University sold the building in 2002 and it is now 112 privately owned flats.
