Market Monday.....

Another shortage of staff today. One on a week's holiday ( a fact I only remembered at 7.30 this morning when he didn't turn up ! )
Another off for the day doing something better !
Left the other 2 plus wee brother busy horn branding the blackface gimmers while I took 3 cull cows to StBoswells . A lot more cows than last week and mine were not as well fleshed as last weeks 4 so didn't come to as much money, but still came to more than they cost as heifers 10 years ago.
Feeling a bit Baltic today , snow may be on the cards. Hope not.
