Ready to open

I have African violets lined up on my kitchen windowsill and they are all starting to come into bud. My grandmother and my aunt always had them on their kitchen sills when I was growing up. When I got married I discovered that Mr M's grandmother did also. So I am carrying on a long tradition. I always thought they were difficult to grow, but I've discovered once you find the right place for them, they are no trouble at all.
