I feel that ice is slowly melting

A frosted rose bud in the garden. I don't think it'll last much longer now. It was forecast to be minus 4c overnight, it's just a shade below minus 2c at the moment. It is so still and quiet, that you can hear the rustle of frozen leaves falling off the big tree next door.
