This is my niece's new dog Billy. He's three.

A Rescue dog. Previously beaten. Locked in a cage all day.
Now head shy and wary of every visitor. Fed biscuits by all as a reward for saying hello, eventually accepting we will not do the same. From that point, he gives nothing but love.

What can provoke abuse on such a beautiful creature?
